We have a very cool group of people already registered on here. The ones I see posting are the people that usually had something interesting or humorous to say that I cared to read. If we invite more of the forum regulars, who are mostly in my opinion really cool people, for me, it is a suitable replacement because the main aspect of IN we appreciated and used was the forums. It's the quickest and easiest way to communicate, and it's specifically where our humor and friendships met, and still having potential access to that here is a significant thing when you're riding a keybaord in a shithole cubicle for 8 hours, or whatever you're doing to pass the time and be entertained.
Remember, it's attraction, not promotion that drew us together. Some people have that concept backwards. This is OUR community. It is composed by us and we make it what it is. At any time we can take our lives, friendships and personalities wherever we choose. I've even had simulated homo-sex txt conversations on a public screen at a nin concert with a dude that plays guitar in my band that I met on the nin.com site. We could rap and do this shit anywhere y'all. .

The frustration we have now from IN firing a douche torpedo is due to the fact that [we feel like] someone is trying to take advantage of our friendships for monetary gain.

Many people cannot access Myspace or facebook and wouldnt go there if they could because it's not a forum community. That's what we specifically used Inked Nation for and we have no real need for the other stuff that they want to charge for, especially when you consider most of our content is probably on these other sites that are widely recognized as more customizable, user friendly and stable, all while still being free to use. Sure as fuck know mine is. ..and I won't have the hassle of having pantera or deftones skullfucking my face whenever I want to go to your profile and post a comment to say hey because you're one of the forums users I mentioned that I regularly communicate with



It will be pretty easy to get people here, cuz we're already here, and people wanna be with the cool kids.

yeah, i was actually on IN almost everyday, with my coffee and shitty morning routine...
i never wrote in the forums much, but i stayed entertained regardless. it always felt like i was diving into someone else's koolaid when i did =P although i really liked a lot of people that posted on there...
maybe i'll post more here

I hope this kicks off, but the only thing I see that needs changing is the background color, it makes it hard to distinguish things.
