Seriously, A 100? That tells me that the inspector doesn't really give a fuck. I mean, I'm not bitching about getting a perfect score, but a 100? Really? I don't think I've ever seen a 100 on any restaraunts or tattoo shops. Crazy.

in tennessee, if you don't get a 100, you are fined IMMEDIATELY (100-500 bucks).

get two 500buck fines in a year, and you are shut down.

the Health Inspector here in Knox Co. knows whats what, and will tell you to fix shit rather than fine you, if its something that is not super egregious.

that's why EVERY SHOP that is still open has (nearly) straight 100's around here.... the number is meaningless, really, but the inspector does come by 4 times a year, and that's a good thing.

i did a 98 this year... she found a couple piercing needles with outta date clave numbers...

shit in wyoming my county is the only county in the state that governs this industry at all... but...i got the luck of the draw... i got the county supervisor... "hurricane ruth" she has one food service, one medical .and one Tattoo/ BM shop on her roster to maintain her licenece.....me... life kinda sucks cuz i have to show her herown regs half the time and shes way over anal the rest of the time , when i got here they werent copying IDs or doing biowaste management but she wanted to shut me down cuz she said one of my stations was 4 ft shy of 100 sq ft... so i pull out the regs book anfd show her where only 80sq ft are required...alittle continuity plzzzz

hmmmnnnn , been open and licensed for 42 months and see an inspector each and every month ( unannounced ) religiously. there`s a possibility of 55 violations per inspection and we have never seen one single violation !!! not braggin and knock on wood , but it`s pretty basic upkeep ...........

we had an empty paper towel dispenser and we were out of aftercare handouts.

damn those sneaky inspectors!
