Posting Pics

Can someone please help me as I am a computer retard I do not understand how to get pics up on this thing

when you go to leave a reply on the top tool bar you will see a little image of a polaroid. Says "host an image" when you roll over it. Click that and upload from a site or your computer.

i don't know if you still needed help... but if so:

put the url of the actual photo itself (has to be an address, not a direct computer picture), ending with .jpg or .gif or whatever into the area of the "image" button at the top of the form. (like the purrrdy girl said, the one that looks like a polaroid, hehe)
or instead of using the button, you could try putting the addy (again, ending in a pic format, .jpg, .gif, etc) in THIS kind of tag:
<img src=" ">
in between the parenthesis...

you gotta put it on a site somewhere (like photobucket or something). once there, it'll either give you the direct link of it, or you can right click it, go down and click on properties, highlight-and-copy the "image-url" or "location of image" (it'll say something like that), and that would be your url for the pic.
or if you have your own website or a myspace or something, you could do it from there too, instead of using a place like photobucket.

You actually DON'T have to use photobucket, but you have to find the photo's URL wherever you are linking it from. Problem is in most cases, you are using up bandwith from whatever site hosts the photo, so it makes the site run slower.... *hint*hint*

Anyway, you can right click on the image, and you can either go to properties and use the URL in "location" if you are on a PC, and I can't remember how to do it on a MAC because I'm not using one right this second. But it's similar.... Also, you can right click and choose "view image." This will take you to JUST the image like doing a google search, and you can use the URL address in your address bar.

I've been having some weird issues posting some images using HTML coding (the <img src=> stuff), so you can also put your image UTL between [img][/img]; I forget what the coding is called, but it works, too.
