I finally graduate, almost 5 years after the start, but it was a good ride. A few bumps along the way, but I wouldn't change a thing about it

Sweet! I just dropped out of school, myself! Best move I could have possibly have made for myself, and couldn't be happier!

There were a few times I wanted to say fuck it and walk away, those shitbags can really bring you down at times

I've been in school off and on since I graduated high school in '03, and pretty much never wanted to be there in the first place.

I was pretty much getting a degree to make my parents happy, and now I'm doing what makes ME happy... it's fucking fantastic!!!!

Now I just gotta start paying off my loans..... *sigh* At least I don't have a ton of them like a lot of kids my age I know.

That's the best move you can do. It took me 10 years out of high school to finally get to college. But when I went it was for me and only me. My folks wanted me to go right out of high school and I told them to stop smoking the rock.

Anything we do in life, we need to do it for ourselves, no one else. Sounds selfish to some, but at the end of the day, when the chips are down, we are the only ones there for ourselves

I agree completely! This is the first major decision I have made FOR myself, you know? Without worrying about the consequences or how it will affect someone else.

It's still difficult to remember to work on my OWN happiness sometimes, but I'm really lucky and have a wonderful man by my side now who is constantly reminding me that I have to stop worrying about anyone else but myself.
