Dude, just get some india ink from the art store! That's what I do. They even have some badass colors you can pick out, so you aren't stuck just using the black!

But I was going to give detailed instructions on how to McGuyver a sweet tatty gun out of an old deodorant stick, a set of shoe laces, and an extension chord..... Does this mean you would delete said instructions if I post them?

if the extention cord is plugged in, its like a power supply, you dip it in ink and apply the loose wires to the skin in a jab motion, and the eletrical current from the outlet will zap it in nice

But you have to rig up the empty deo stick with the shoe laces so you create an ink well.

Fuck all that. My artist uses charcoal mixed with turpentine and deer piss!

On a serious note I used to just make my own pigments from powder and inert ingredients, took a while to learn how to do it right, anybody else ever do that or am I the last of a dying breed? Hahaha
