Re: OFFICIAL UFC 101 PPV PREVIEW
we dont have tv at the moment either BUT i just found out you can watch free series online and hook it up via laptop/pc to the TV you just need a cord , that we found for 3 bucks on ebay and 20 bucks at walmart, the website is HULU, you should check it out.
the website is free, the cord is not, but you might even have one laying around if you know someone into electronics

I'm familiar with Hulu, but personally refuse to use it. Their reverse psychology commercials won't work on me!
They talk about wanting to rot peoples' brains out? NOT MINE GOD DAMN IT!!!!!! I'd just rather go without any TV, or the limited TV I get when my boyfriend and I are hanging out with his roommates at their place (we're usually at my house).
But yeah, no Hulu for me, thanks!
There really just isn't all that much I want to watch, anyway.
I'd consider the PPV online if I had money.... I think one of the bars here in town actually gets the fights, so I might double check on that and go have a few beers there. It's a little bit of a redneck joint, but it's still pretty cool.

Nah, it's more like, "hey, we're aliens and we want to rot out your brains! Watch TV on your computer for free at your own convenience, and your brains will rot and we can eat them!"twyliteskyz wrote:

Kind of funny, but at the same time, I'm fully aware of how much stupidity TV can cause. I can't think of a single show or movie I'm going to die without watching, so I'm just steering clear

hahahaha..... actually, I can honestly say I have NEVER ONCE used hulu!!!
And yeah, we don't have anything fancy like a Hooters or ESPN Zone or whatever.... We USED to have a Hooters, but they closed down because the guy who owned it wasn't running it correctly; a bunch of illegal tax shit, I think.

Re: OFFICIAL UFC 101 PPV PREVIEW
adultswim.com USED to have all their shows online, so that's worth checking out if you haven't already looked there.
And I think Hulu does have pretty much everything on it, from what I hear, so they would probably have Adult Swim shows, too.
And Tattoo Highway is a worthless piece of shit. hahahaha..... I saw an episode last week when I went to pick up my boyfriend from his house after he had gotten home from work. He and his roommate were watching an episode, and we stuck around until the end.... It was awful. The finished tattoo was shitty, and they had a dog in the bus that ate therma-fax paper or whatever and got really sick.
I guess worth watching a few minutes for a laugh, but I wouldn't be able to stand an entire episode (I came in like halfway into the one I saw).

hahahaha..... really one of the main reasons I don't mind NOT having TV is because it gives me more time to do more productive things. I keep my place WAY cleaner when I'm not distracted, and have more time to read and that kind of productivity.
You are tempting me pretty hard, though..... I might break down

Maybe I can just get my boyfriend to do the dishes.... I usually cook everything, anyway!gutter wrote:

hahaha.... I'm kidding. He pretty much always offers to help with the dishes, I just feel bad letting him help with cleaning since I don't have a job right now, so he's been buying me food a lot of the time.

Re: OFFICIAL UFC 101 PPV PREVIEW
I hope it is! I feel like he's getting the short end of the stick right now, but I'm sure he would tell me if he thought so. Plus, he's been Vegan for like the past year, and there are pretty much NO Vegan options at the restaurants here in town, so by me cooking for him it helps him eat the way he wants to, I guess. Where he lived before moving here there were all kinds of Vegan restaurants and shit; crazy hippie town!
But yeah, I guess it ends up being sort of close to the same cost wise for him, since eating out is twice as expensive anyway.
