Geez. CAN you blend with them? I use Decos to write graffiti with, but as far as I know, blending would be next to impossible.
Brush markers or prisma color markers would be a much better bet.
Esp. if you couple them with the prisma color pencils.

If you are using Prismacolor markers, then make sure you are using the correct kind of paper. You can get some good blends out of the Graphics 360. It's by Bienfang Commercial Art Papers, and should say "100% RAG TRANSLUCENT MARKER PAPER" on it. Just look out for smudging and running your hand over the marker ink before it's dry; kind of like a left-hander writing in pencil, you know?
There's better paper out there, but that's a good paper to start out with.
Also, if you have a gray-scale set of Prismas, then you can use that as and under drawing before you lay down color.
Then if you want some good highlights on top of that, you can use a white Prisma pencil or some white chalk pastel. To get the highlights even stronger, just make sure you don't use the marker on that section, and it will pop even better.

ha thanks! I really like the bug, but the car was for a project when I was studying Industrial Design; they gave us an outline, and we basically had to color it in. Lame!
